Jonathan discovers an enticing beauty dancing with strange beings. Is she real or merely his darkest fantasy?
In the middle of the forest, Jonathan discovers an old foundation where strange beings dance. A raven-haired beauty entices him into her arms, where she offers him the choice of enjoying her body or the fortune of his dreams. Is this woman real or merely a figment of his darkest fantasy?
The mysterious place remained just as Jonathon remembered. He’d stumbled upon it the night before as he pushed through the woods, camera in hand. Although weeds and briars choked the flower garden, it still bloomed with an incredible array of aroma and color. He studied the crumbling sandstone blocks that had, at one time, shouldered a secluded home.
He kept telling himself he was returning to photograph the nesting orioles and not the woman. Last night, in the midst of colorful blooms, a woman stood garbed in a glorious mane of midnight hair. Her voluptuous body, with its two perfect alabaster mounds peaked with pink nipples, had enticed him through the black-as-coal fall of her hair. When he’d stepped out of the trees to speak to her, she was gone.
He sat with his back to the rough bark of a tree, and settled down to watch and wait. Later, the sweet melody of stringed instruments and raucous laughter roused Jonathon. Realizing he must’ve dozed off, he rubbed the drowsiness from his eyes. His camera was missing, and darkness blanketed the unfamiliar woods. His half-numb butt tingled, and a stick poked his leg. Jonathon stumbled through the undergrowth, and then burst out into a flower garden alive with dancing nude people. The scent of honeysuckle and spices floated upon the evening breeze. Luminescent globes hovered in midair.
His mind reeled at the display of strange winged beings. Jonathon’s gaze came to rest upon the woman he had seen the evening before. She stood like a living pearlescent statue in the center of a ring of gyrating humanoid creatures. With her long limbs, wondrous breasts, flaring hips, and silken charcoal hair, she looked like a Greek goddess. The woman’s gaze met his, and she stepped out of the dancers who whirled around her.
